Roses Information
We have more than 100 Hectares of roses in South America. In order to provide you with the best wholesale roses available in the market we have the latest techniques and the very best professionals in the agricultural area.
We guarantee freshness and the quality of our wholesale roses by ensuring that all steps from harvest to packing are supervised to avoid any problem. Our roses are grown with purified water and with the soil at the right pH levels.
In the farm we make several tests to all varieties so we can determine the vase life of wholesale roses and also once the flowers arrive at our facility in the U.S. we perform random tests to improve the conditions of our wholesale roses. One of our quality control inspectors always unwraps roses to ensure flowers were shipped and prepared correctly.
Not all varieties perform the same way, that's why we make our tests with red wholesale roses, white wholesale roses, yellow wholesale roses, pink wholesale roses, orange wholesale roses and bi-color wholesale roses. Vase life it's determinate by the variety and the way the farm took care of post-harvesting and packing.
Our wholesale roses are also cut at a different cut stage depending on the variety. Some varieties are cut with their buds more closed than others.
Some varieties are more sensitive. It is normal that during shipping, the roses get some black spots in the outer petals, if that is the case with your roses, just remove the outer petals.
Some rose varieties are more sensitive to temperature changes. That is why some of them open faster than others.
Our wholesale roses have different head sizes. For example Titanic and Raphaela are big head varieties, and Escimo or Blue birds are small head varieties. It depends on the nature of the rose variety by itself, so basically the opening of the roses has nothing to do with head size.
Some roses like Miracle have a small head but opens fully and beautiful.

Our roses are harvested in the best fields of the word. Our customers use our roses for wedding flowers, bridal flowers, flowers bouquets, wedding florists, wholesale flowers for any occasion.
Now a little bit about the Ecuadorian certification process for our Roses.
NGO, NSF International, along with Scientific Certification Services, are committed to auditing food and air quality standards. They also have responsibility for VERIFLORA, a real green seal program that regularly audits and spot check its farms to make sure they adhere to promises and guarantees.
Veriflora requires a minimum level of organic practices with a documented time line for growers to bring their farms to fully ecologically sound systems including:
1- Water and ecological conservation: We implemented water management systems to prevent depletion of fresh water supplies.
2- Social responsibility: We adher to recognized labor and community standards, specially pertaining to health and safety, work conditions, hiring practices, discrimination, harassment and fair pay.
3- Product quality: We implemented practices to ensure quality of roses through the whole chain of delivery to the final consumer.
4- Advanced agricultural practices: We have integrated organic practices wherever possible; we only use approved green label certified pesticides; We do not allow discharge of pesticides into the environment.
5- Waste management: recycling and composting as well as the proper disposal of agricultural chemicals.
By March of 2007 we have certified 60 hectares, certification means we have met or exceeded requirements. There is no middle ground with Veriflora, no multiple levels of certification. You either are ecologically sound and certified or not.
That means we are recognized now for environmentally friendly farming, producing top quality flowers and looking after every single one of our workers with:
1- Free doctor and medical treatment at the farm for workers
2- Day care facilities for infants
3- Free breakfast and lunch (and dinner when they work late)
4- Free sports and recreation facilities
5- Small business loans -when workers want to leave to set up their own small holding farm
